9. KC Resort & Over Water Villas in Koh Samui

Chaweng Beach at Koh Samui

The KC Resort has the most well-known water villas in Thailand, located in the beautiful chaweng bay at the gulf of Thailand. You’d expect that the water villas are directly above the sea, but they are actually on a hillside with private pools below. This architectures ensures astonishing views on the ocean. In addition to a private swimming pool, the water villas also have a terrace, where you can enjoy anything from a romantic breakfast in the morning to a candlelight dinner in the evening.

The water villas are usually available for rent starting at about $168 per night and are therefore one of the cheapest overwater bungalows you can get.

But the KC Resort with the overwater villas seems to be closed according to Google Maps. There is still a KC Resort in Koh Samui that is open, but it doesn’t have overwater bungalows.

It’s unfortunate because this seems to be a real nice place. We’ll try to update this article as soon as we have more information!

Check out the alternative options to the KC Resort & Over Water Villas below.
