This overwater bungalow resort has amazing views of the lagoon, which is made even more breathtaking by the crystal clear water of the lagoon. At Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort, you can choose between an overwater bungalow and a garden villa, giving you the option of being in the middle of the action or retiring to a tranquil setting. Of course, we recommend the tranquil surroundings of the overwater bungalows. And there are 39 of them in 2 different types in 4 versions:

The spectacular views of the overwater bungalow and the peace and seclusion you can enjoy on your private deck in the middle of the magnificent lagoon are just two of the many reasons to choose this version. And when you want to take a plunge into the cool turquoise waters, you can immediately return to your deck via direct access. If you can’t get enough of the water around you, you can also marvel at it through the glass floor of the bungalow. Every bungalow has a size of 42m², a king-size bed, an additional single bed, air conditioning, a private bathroom with rain shower, a ceiling fan, and one bungalow is even accessible with a wheelchair. Which is something really special.

Located at the end of the deck, these Superior Overwater Bungalows offer an unobstructed view of the lagoon and Tahiti’s island.

The Luxury Overwater Bungalow provides about twice the living space of the Superior Overwater Bungalow, with 83m². And you get the same amenities, direct access to the crystal clear waters of the lagoon from your deck, the glass bottom, and all other amenities. However, there is no barrier-free bungalow of this type.

Similar to the Superior Horizon Overwater Bungalow, this overwater bungalow offers stunning unobstructed views of Tahiti’s island, because it’s located at the end of the pier.

The resort offers a wide range of activities such as swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding in the lagoon, snorkeling, diving, and fishing trips. You may either sunbathe at the swimming pool or relax in the Le Jarding Spa after a day of exploring the island.

The resort has two restaurants and two bars.

Pure is a lovely restaurant that serves regional and international cuisine in an attractive environment with views over the lagoon. From the terrace, you may even see a glimpse of Tahiti’s silhouette. The other restaurant, K, is more intimate and romantic. You may fully unwind with your feet in the sand and enjoy the presence of your partner while lounging beneath a ceiling constructed from native wood.

The Beach Bar is the ideal location to unwind with Tahitian Hinano beer or an exquisite Island Spritz cocktail on a beachfront and admire the sunset over the South Pacific horizon. The overwater bungalows come in two versions: standard and Premium.

The standard overwater bungalow has a size of 48m² and offers direct access to the lagoon, either a bathtub or a shower, and a glass floor in the bedroom. This accommodation is set up for a family of three with two adults and one kid on a king-size bed, as well as a single bed.

The Premium overwater bungalow has also the size of 48m² and all of the amenities as mentioned earlier for the standard overwater bungalows. However, the distinction between standard overwater bungalows and these premium overwater bungalows is that they provide a spectacular view of the ocean.

A private pool is nice, but with overwater bungalows, you may stay above a coral nursery, which is one of the resort’s distinctive features.

There’s even a coral grafting workshop, where you assist in the construction of a coral reef and help do something good for the environment. After the workshop, you go snorkeling around the resort with the guide. After doing something good for the environment you may want to do something good for yourself by getting a treatment at the Manea Spa. Or if want to experience more of the marine life you can take a jet ski tour, go for Moorea Blue Diving or enjoy a private half-day or full-day tour with a guide, drinks, snacks, and more. If you want to see more of Moorea, horseback riding, hiking, and jeep safaris are all excellent options.

At this Hilton Resort, you choose between a variety of garden bungalows with a private plunge pool and four versions of overwater bungalows. While the overwater bungalows do not feature a private pool, they do have direct access to the lagoon.

This 62m² Polynesian-styled accommodation is a beach bungalow after all, but two stilts extend into the water and have their own private deck in the water.

The overwater bungalows provide a spectacular view of the lagoon and come with amenities like a king-size bed, glass floor panels, lounge chairs on your private deck, and direct access to the crystal clear water of the lagoon. You also have an excellent view of the Moorea Mountains. In the marble bathroom, you may use the rain shower to rinse off the saltwater.

The overwater bungalows with a panoramic view are located farther out on the pier and, as a result, give you the same amenities as the King Overwater Bungalow but with a significantly better view of the lagoon.

The overwater bungalow with a premium panoramic view is located furthest out on the pier and gives you all of the overwater bungalow amenities but with an even better view of the lagoon.

At this resort, you may enjoy a game of tennis, work out in the fitness center, go to the beach, dive into the outdoor pool or unwind at the spa. Treatment options include the Moorea Lagoon massage and the Moorea Volcanic massage, both of which use sacred Polynesia Monoi oil.

The overwater restaurant, Toate Bar & Creperie, is open for dinner. You may view the elegance of lagoon sharks while eating French crepes. There are three other restaurants at the resort that you may also enjoy: The lagoon and the ocean are on display at Arii Vahine, an open-air restaurant with views of both. It has a breakfast buffet as well as a dinner service. Eimeo Bar is a cocktail lover’s paradise, with both enticing and spectacular vistas. The waterfront restaurant Rotui Bar & Grill opens for lunch and dinner.
